About The Art of Living Ancestry

The Art of Living Ancestry is a playful way for kids (and their parents) to discover Persian culture together. This first adventure is all about Nowruz, the Persian New Year — a 13-day festival that welcomes spring on the day of the spring equinox.

At the heart of Nowruz is the Haft-Sin table, where families gather seven symbolic items whose Persian names all start with the letter S. Each one stands for something hopeful: rebirth, love, health, beauty, patience, prosperity, and the sunrise.

We made this small app to share that joy with curious kids ages 7 and up. There's much more to come — new themes, new games, and Persian language along the way. If you'd like to follow along, leave us your email at the end of the games.
